Donation to John Ross College
As part of our social responsibility programme, Mooney Ford made a donation to John Ross College in Richards Bay last year. John Ross is a former model C government school and caters mostly to the previously disadvantaged communities in and around Richards Bay.
As you know, many of these government schools are constrained in terms of their facilities due to financial considerations. John Ross used our donation to install a number of air-conditioners at the school as well as to purchase smart boards as teaching aids.
Richards Bay is notoriously hot, temperatures routinely reaching over 40 degrees in the summer and the air-conditioners have much improved learning conditions in the classroom.
The smart boards are simply a fantastic teaching aid and have been well received by both the pupils and staff.
